Lorenzo Insigne's agent Antonio Ottaiano has confirmed that no offers have been made for the 24-year-old Napoli player.
A target for Arsenal, Fiorentina and Internazionale according to reports, the Italian will this month join the rest of the squad for pre-season.
Ottaiano has however warned that the player deserves an important role in the squad ahead of the new campaign.
"Lorenzo is relaxed at the moment, he's on holiday," the agent told Calciomercato.it.
"He will join the rest of the squad for pre-season so everything is proceeding normally.
"The lad wants to stay, he loves the city, he loves the club, his dream is to win trophies as Napoli captain.
"But it's also true that Lorenzo would like to have a more important role in the squad, not just from a financial point of view but from all aspects.
"Insigne is no longer a kid, he's a professional, a complete player and a complete man.
"We know the president wants him to stay but we're yet to meet with [new coach Maurizio] Sarri. Pre-season will help to understand what the new coach wants.
"Fiorentina? Just rumours, no club has made contact with us for the player."
