Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain has reached an agreement with Juventus according to reports in Italy.
The striker met with Juventus representatives on Friday evening to discuss personal terms ahead of a transfer to Turin.
The 28-year-old was reported to have undergone a medical in Madrid after accepting to leave the Partenopei to join the reigning champions.
The Bianconeri will pay £79million to secure the services of last season's Serie A top scorer.
He was also a target for Arsenal and Atletico Madrid.
It is unknown if president Aurelio De Laurentiis will spend the money to strengthen his squad although journalist Raffaele Tagliamonte says Mauro Icardi or Carlos Tevez will replace Higuain this season.
Napoli fans have vented their fury after the news broke with many accusing president De Laurentiis of selling his best player to one of their rivals.
