Manchester City have joined the race to sign Italy defender Leonardo Bonucci, Calciomercato.com has revealed.
Reports last week claimed that the defender has accepted a £130,000-a-week contract from Chelsea.
Juventus have insisted that the 29-year-old is not for sale amid rumours that the Blues and the Citizens already tabled bids in excess of £33million plus bonus.
In February, executive director Giuseppe Marotta has in fact confirmed that the club will not sell one of their most important players in defence.
"We are not worried," he said.
"Juventus has never sold players unless they ask to leave.
"We extended Bonucci's contract last summer, he is part of the club and there is no reason to believe that he will leave [in the summer].
"We are flattered by Pep Guardiola's comments [on the player] but we're not concerned."
