Manchester United have joined Liverpool in the race to sign goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.
The two clubs have been told that they must pay £50million to secure the services of the Denmark international.
The son of club legend Peter, Kasper has been identified as one to take over from David de Gea if the Spaniard leaves the club during the summer transfer window.
The Foxes have no intention of selling one of the leaders of the club but recent reports have claimed that the 30-year-old wants to leave to enjoy Champions League football next season.
Liverpool are also interested with manager Jurgen Klopp an admirer of the former Manchester City stopper.
Schmeichel was one of the best players for Leicester City's title-winning side two years ago and played more than 200 games for the Foxes.
