West Ham United are set to make a stunning transfer offer for Arsenal and Chelsea target Mattia Destro, the Daily Star reports.
The 24-year-old was hyped as one of the best young Italian players of his generation after spells at Genoa and Siena but struggled to impose himself at Roma.
He was loaned out to Milan last season but the Rossoneri opted against extending his loan spell for one more season.
At the end of last month, agent Claudio Vigorelli confirmed that Monaco are also interested.
"Mattia didn't reject a move to Monaco," agent Claudio Vigorelli told TuttoMercatoWeb.
"It's just that Roma and Monaco failed to reach a financial agreement for the transfer."
According to Italian media, Vigorelli is in London this week to reach an agreement with West Ham United.
