Chelsea are poised to make a third bid for Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan this week, Mirror has revealed on Monday.
The situation of the Belgium international is very unclear.
He declared that he doesn't want to leave Roma and the Giallorossi confirmed that he is not for sale.
But manager Antonio Conte has made contact to make him his first summer signing at Stamford Bridge.
And last week, the 28-year-old told reporters that the Blues have made contact to sign him.
"Chelsea were talking but at the moment there is nothing," the Belgium international confirmed.
"The Premier League is a big competition, it's lovely, but I think sometimes in life you need to make choices, and all I can say is that I am happy where I am.
"I said to him [Roma president James Pallotta] I love where I am playing so why not stay?"
