Manchester United have made a £28million offer to sign Roma defender Kostas Manolas but the Giallorossi have rejected the offer, transfer expert Emanuele Giulianelli wrote on Twitter.
Two months ago, agent Ioannis Evangelopoulos met with the Red Devils to open negotiations.
Back then, he confirmed that the player would only leave Roma if the club decides to sell.
"He would only leave Roma if the club decides so," Evangelopoulos told Italiacalcio.it in April.
"At the moment they don't want to listen to offers because they consider him a key player ahead of next season."
Manager Jose Mourinho has already added £30million defender Eric Bailly to his squad as he continues to strengthen his side ahead of next season.
