Manchester United and Arsenal target to reject lucrative offers to join Roma

By

Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca will reject a move to top English Premier League clubs to join Serie A runner-ups Roma.

The 28-year-old is a target for Manchester United and Arsenal according to reports in England but agent Sergio Barila has revealed that his client wants a Serie A switch.

"Carlos is deeply religious," Barila told Corriere dello Sport.

"And in Rome, there is the pope. And apart from that we are talking about one of the best clubs [Roma].

"If Bacca were to leave Sevilla, it will not be for the money, but a chance to play in the Champions League."
