According to reports in Italy, Roma are ready to make a move to sign the 28-year-old who spent last season on loan at Sporting Lisbon.
The Giallorossi are set to sell former Arsenal winger Gervinho to Al Jazira for £10m and are determined to use the money to fund the signing of Nani although the player's £100000-a-week wages could pose a problem.
