It is now only a matter of days before Roma officially announce the arrival of Marko Basa from Lille.
According to Italian newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport", the two clubs have already reached an agreement for the 31-year-old centre-back.
In case of last minute issues for the transfer of Basa, the Giallorossi are keeping an eye on River Plate's Eder Alvarez Balanta.
The 21-year-old would not provide the same amount of experience guaranteed by the Montenegro international but would add power and strength in the air.
Meanwhile, coach Rudi Garcia expressed concern at how the transfer market window is managed in Italy.
"It is not normal that the transfer window closes after the league starts," Garcia told journalists.
"Whoever is responsible for this has to act.
"It's just a matter of shutting down the window before and everyone will be happy."
