Borussia Dortmund send Jonas Hofmann on loan to Mainz

A number of transfers have been confirmed in Germany, this morning.

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jonas Hofmann joins Mainz on a season-long deal with Hertha Berlin confirming via twitter the arrival of 27-year-old midfielder Per Ciljan Skjelbred from Hamburg.

Hamburg, in the meantime, have signed winger Julian Wesley Green from Bayern Munich with the 19-year-old joining on a season-long.

Die Rothosen are also expected to announce the arrival of midfielder Lewis Holtby from Tottenham Hotspur later on today.
