They call him "the new Kaka" and Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is eager to add him to his squad, according to the Daily Star.
The Red Devils have identified midfielder Fabian Ruiz as a possible target for the summer transfer window but they must fend off competition from Barcelona if they are to finalise the move.
The 21-year-old is also a target for Lazio although in a recent interview he confessed that he is fully focused on doing well for his club, Real Betis.
"The only thing I'm thinking about is Betis and at this moment it hasn't entered my head to leave the place where I grew up," Fabian said at a club promotional event before Betis' 3-2 win defeat against Leganes.
"We have a match at Leganes on Saturday where we can finish fifth in the table and that's the only thing that matters right now.
"I cannot talk about the future. I am focused on Betis, on Saturday, and then going on holiday – nothing else.
"We've shown this year that with hard work anything is possible and that for youngsters like myself it is possible to play a lot of minutes and do well."
