Arsenal target Lucas Torreira will undergo a medical with the Gunners in the coming days, Mirror has claimed.
The 22-year-old is in action with the Uruguay national team at the 2018 World Cup Finals and he could take his medical in Russia.
The youngster has a £26million release clause in his contract.
He would become Unai Emery's second signing since taking over from Arsene Wenger with Stephan Lichtsteiner already joining as a free agent.
Recent reports have claimed that the defensive midfielder will sign a five-year contract with the North Londoners.
Napoli and Liverpool have also been linked with the player.
