Anderson Talisca has signed a pre-contract agreement with Manchester United according to Turkish journalist Firat Gunayer.
The 24-year-old is expected to leave parent club Benfica after spending the last two campaigns on loan at Besiktas.
"Talisca has signed a preliminary protocol with Manchester United," Gunayer wrote on Twitter.
"Benfica, however, has not yet agreed with the British.
"They are meeting with other clubs."
Besiktas manager Senol Gunes wanted to keep the player at the club but revealed that the Brazilian already has a "deal in place".
"Talisca was already gone at the winter break," Gunes said.
"I'm sorry that he won't be with us any longer.
"I wish he could stay for his sake and ours. He already had a deal in place."
