Chelsea’s search for a new manager remains active and the Blues’ top brass have met with Laurent Blanc, Metro has reported.
The article claims that the Blues want to have other options in case they fail to reach an agreement with Maurizio Sarri.
As for Sarri, his situation is very complicated as he is still under contract with Napoli.
At the end of the month he will be able to leave the club if his release clause of £7million is paid, a fee which Chelsea may not be ready to meet.
As uncertainty over the future manager rises, a number of players are considering their future at Stamford Bridge.
Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois have both been linked with leaving the club this summer with winger Willian also set to leave.
