Manchester United are all set to sign Diogo Dalot from Parto, according to the Daily Telegraph's Jason Burt.
Burt has claimed on his Twitter account that the Red Devils have agreed to meet the player's £17.5million release clause.
Recent reports have claimed that Jose Mourinho opted for the 19-year-old after failing in his attempt to sign Southampton’s Cedric Soares and Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin.
The youngster will provide competition for Antonio Valencia and will eventually replace the 33-year-old in the Manchester United defensive department.
Dalot joined Porto's academy at the age of 11 and made just eight appearances for the club, enough to convince the Red Devils to make a move.
He will not feature in the upcoming World Cup Finals as he was not included in Portugal’s squad.
