Manager Antonio Conte says every member of the club should be on the same wavelength if Chelsea are to achieve their objectives this season.
Owner Roman Abramovich visited the training ground this week and had a chat with the Italian after the Blues suffered two consecutive defeats in the English Premier League.
The 47-year-old was also full of praise for the three Spanish players who were not selected by Julen Lopetegui for next month's 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Italy and Albania.
"Mr Abramovich is very passionate about football and to talk with him is very interesting because I like to explain my ideas about football," Conte said.
"Good communication is always important with all the people, to be clear on every aspect. It's important to be clear with players, staff, the club and the owner.
"Azpi [Cesar Azpilicueta], Cesc [Fabregas] and Pedro are three important players for Chelsea.
"They are working very well with great commitment and a good attitude, which is important.
"I think this can be an opportunity [being left out of the Spain squad for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers] for them to work hard and try to get back into the Spain squad. We are talking about three great players."
