Chelsea manager Antonio Conte says defender Antonio Rudiger could start tomorrow's game against Burnley.
The Blues will be without Pedro and Victor Moses with striker Alvaro Morata also expected to face Sean Dyche's side.
They will be eager to bounce back from Sunday's defeat against Arsenal with three points from their first game of this season's Premier League campaign.
"Pedro is not available because he is suffering with an injury from the Arsenal game and he wasn't able to recover, it's a knock on his ankle," Conte told reporters.
"Because we miss [Victor] Moses for one game it could be an opportunity for [Antonio] Rudiger to start.
"I've been impressed so far, he's a good player. He's strong physically, he has a good personality and great technique."
