Chelsea manager Antonio Conte will deploy the 4-2-4 formation at Stamford Bridge this season, midfielder Oscar has revealed.
The Italian is an admirer of the 3-5-2 system that he adopted at Juventus and for Italy at the Euro 2016 Championship.
But he will opt for a more aggressive approach in order to be competitive in the English Premier League.
"The idea is to play 4-2-4," Oscar is quoted as saying by Goal.
"We tried this every day in training - we're getting better.
"Last season, we had a lot of problems. We had a lot of injured players and we didn't play for titles.
"Always in the past, we were playing for titles and last season we won nothing. It's so difficult to explain last season. But everyone is now fresh for the new season."
