Chelsea manager Antonio Conte says Ruben Loftus-Cheek could be deployed as a striker this season.
The 46-year-old was full of praise for the 20-year-old after he scored the second goal for the Blues in their 3-0 win against WAC RZ Pellets.
And he says he possesses the right characteristics to play either close to the main striker or as the one to lead the offensive department.
"Ruben is young with great potential," Conte told reporters after the friendly game.
"I like him a lot in the position of striker. He can improve a lot because he has great potential, good technique, good personality and he is good one v one.
"Every manager has their own idea about a system of play.
"In this system, with two midfielders, Ruben can play close to the other forward but become a forward when we have the ball. He has the right characteristics to play in this position and he showed that today."
