Corinthians president Roberto de Andrade says Alexandre Pato's loan deal with Chelsea was a bad decision.
The Brazilian played only two games for the Blues after joining the club during the January transfer window.
He was released by the club this month with Corinthians expected to sell him during the summer transfer window.
"Pato will have a talk with the coach in the coming days," Roberto de Andrade told Goal Brazil.
"The chances of leaving will depend on negotiations and the various offers that arrive. He'll be here on Tuesday, he'll train with the squad.
"It's easy to say today that it was a bad deal [with Chelsea]. We didn't get either a technical or financial advantage. It wasn't a good deal, from every point of view.
"We're aware of our mistakes. If he stays with us then of course he'll play. We're paying his salary, why would we not use him?"
