New Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic says Oliver Kahn and Francesco Toldo are the two goalkeepers he looked up to as a youngster.
The 28-year-old is the Blues' second signing of the summer following the arrival of Radamel Falcao on a season-long loan from Monaco.
He signed from Stoke City for an undisclosed fee, reported to be in the region of £8m.
"When I was coming through the ranks players such as Oliver Kahn and Francesco Toldo were at the top of their game, I loved them," Begovic told Chelsea's official website.
"In more recent years you look at people like Petr Cech, who is obviously a club legend here.
"I used to look at his game because our size and physique are quite similar. I try to pick up bits and pieces from everyone but as the years have gone on I’ve looked to develop my game and put my own stamp on things, I think that’s the way it should be.
"My main aims [this season] are to get myself settled in quickly and show everybody what I can do in training and matches.
"Hopefully I can play as many games as possible and contribute to the success of the team, they are ultimately the goals for next season and beyond. I just want to impress as much as I can."
