Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was full of praise for his squad after the 1-0 away win against Queens Park Rangers.
Cesc Fabregas' goal was enough for the Blues to take all three points from Loftus Road and the Portuguese says the Blues deserve to be top of the English Premier League ahead of the last seven games of the season.
"Every time I was champion I remember a couple of matches that my team won in the last minutes," Mourinho said.
"It's not normal for a team to be top of the league since day one, and to arrive in the middle of April still top of the league. I think that's the team that deserves all the credit.
"Other teams are on good runs? We have had a good run since day one. We deserve it.
"It's like a little light that shines for the teams that are going to be champions. We lost two points in Manchester in the last minute but we won these two points, and we won two points against Everton in the last minute.
"I repeat - the team was very stable, and that stability is what allowed us to come to the last minute in a situation where a goal could win the game.
"That save [from goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois] helped us to win the match. Defensively we were very strong all game, including at set-pieces against big guys who are good in the air.
"Obviously Courtois was there for us. I told him during the week, after Hull City and after Charlie Adam, we needed him to give us a couple of points with a couple of saves, and he did it.
"[Petr] Cech is absolutely fantastic, his attitude is amazing.
"Today, before the game, he told the captain to choose a certain end if he won the toss because at 1.30pm it would be better to play in a certain goal because of the sun. And he was not playing – he was thinking for Courtois. With this attitude Petr deserves everything."
