Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says the Champions League exit at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain will not put his players in a state of depression.
With only the English Premier League to fight for, the Blues will now focus on their remaining eleven games in the domestic league.
And they will do it with optimism, according to their manager.
"Why are you so pessimistic in life? It is more difficult to succeed," Mourinho said.
"Maybe you are a guy with great potential and you don't move on because you are a pessimist. Believe in yourself, be positive.
"We have 11 matches to play, We have an advantage of five points with a match in hand. We cannot promise we will win every game but we are optimistic.
"You look pessimistic. Move on man [if you say you're optimistic].
"I reflect on the game with the players, but not with you.
"I had a meeting with the players, I am working for the future. I don't have to share that with you.
"Everybody spoke. It was very interactive. It was good. But I don't share that [what was said] with you.
"The nature of a journalist's job is to go with the wind. If the wind blows one way, you go that way. If it blows another, you go the other way.
"I'm not like that with my players. I trust them whether we win or we lose. I support my players. We win together and we lose together."
