Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois says the Blues should have done better on Wednesday night against Paris Saint-Germain.
After the 1-1 draw in Paris and the numerical advantage after 30 minutes at Stamford Bridge, the result comes as a shock to Chelsea fans and the goalkeeper admits it will not be easy to bounce back from the defeat.
"PSG are a good team, very strong, and they gave us two difficult games," the goalkeeper told the club's official website.
"It was not easy. We didn't have much space. It was a long, hard match. When we went 1-0 up we hoped that would be sufficient but they scored from a corner and then again from a corner after we went 2-1 up.
"We needed to play better to progress.
"It's annoying because we are used to having three matches a week and now we will just have one but, okay, now we can put all our concentration into trying to win the Premier League.
"We are five points ahead and we will do everything to win it. It will be hard, we are disappointed now but there is another great trophy to win this season and we want to do that."
