Chelsea players came under heavy criticism for asking referee Bjorn Kuipers to show a straight red card to Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
It is not the first time the Chelsea players put pressure on the referee to show a red card.
Swansea City boss Garry Monk was frustrated following Chico Flores' red card in the Blues 1-0 win at the Liberty Stadium last April, believing the referee's decision was influenced by Chelsea's pressure.
And it was more of the same on Wednesday night after nine Chelsea players surrounded the referee with the only Thibaut Courtois and injured Oscar not asking for a straight red to be shown.
"When I got the red card all the Chelsea players come around," Ibrahimovic said.
"It felt like I had a lot of babies around me.
"I don't know if I have to get angry or start to laugh. For me when I saw the red card I was like 'the guy doesn't know what he's doing."
Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher was also unhappy with what he saw: "The worst bit of dirty tricks was from Chelsea, surrounding the referee, the reaction was disgraceful.
"Jose Mourinho could end up being the most successful manager ever with the trophies he goes on to win in his career but I don't think him and his teams will be ever be loved because of actions like that.
"Does Mourinho care? I don't think he probably cares. I think it's sad."
