Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta says team-mate Eden Hazard has all the qualities to win the Ballon d'Or.
The 24-year-old has become a key player for the Blues since joining from Lille in the summer of 2012, scoring more than 40 goals in 151 appearances for the club.
He ended 21st in the race to win the award last year with 0.47% of the votes, right behind Chelsea team-mate Thibaut Courtois.
But the Spaniard believes it won't take long before he will be a strong contender for the award.
"We are talking about two monsters of football today," Azpilicueta told Marca when asked about the domination of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
"[But] I think in the future he [Eden Hazard] could win the Ballon d'Or, he has the quality to it, but I see more focus on titles than achieving individual trophies.
"But yes, he has great quality and I think in the future we will see with the trophy in his hands."
