Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic is convinced attack will prove to be the best form of defence against Paris Saint-Germain next week.
The Blues claimed an important 1-1 away draw in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.
But the Serbian believes Chelsea have to attack if they are to make it through to the next round.
"We had a great result in Paris but it doesn't make any difference preparing for the next game," Ivanovic told the club's official website.
"We have to go to try and win and not think we have an advantage.
"The games are coming and every one is more important than the previous one. We are 100 per cent focused on the Champions League now because we want to go through."
The Blues will not be involved this weekend after crashing out in the early stages of the FA Cup.
And the 31-year-old is convinced the rest will help ahead next week's home game against the French giants in the Champions League.
"For sure we will be ready," he explained.
"For us as a team it's very good because we will have time to refresh ourselves and at the same time work and prepare for the game in detail."
