Boss Jose Mourinho says Chelsea need at least 31 points from their remaining 12 Premier League games if they are to be crowned champions.
With a tough away game against West Ham United, the Blues had no time to celebrate their Capital One Cup victory on Sunday.
And Mourinho urges his players to keep an "emotional balance" ahead of the last three months of the season.
"It will be a difficult game on Wednesday. We are happy - normal happiness - no more than that," Mourinho said this afternoon.
"We have 12 matches to play - six home and six away and we have five points advantage, which is not a lot in this competition.
"You have to focus on yourself and winning matches and keep an emotional balance if results aren't going in the right directions.
"There are 36 points to play for and we need 31 points."
Meanwhile, the Portuguese again confirmed that John Terry will be a Chelsea player next season.
"I know what my board tells me and the player tells me and no doubt he is going to get his contract," Mourinho confirmed.
