Manager Jose Mourinho has cooled suggestions Chelsea are favourites to win the Capital One Cup.
The Blues will be without Nemanja Matic at Wembley, one of Mourinho's best players in midfield.
The Serbian's violent conduct ban has been reduced to two games but he will still not be eligible for Sunday's game.
And the Portuguese says Matic's absence is an advantage to Mauricio Pochettino's men.
"It will be an advantage [that Nemanja Matic is suspended]. In football an advantage is an advantage," Mourinho is quoted as saying by the London Evening Standard.
"They [Tottenham Hotspur] have such a good squad, almost replicas with two players for every position.
"What's the difference between Erik Lamela and Andros Townsend? Nacer Chadli and Christian Eriksen? Paulinho and Ryan Mason? [Jan] Vertonghen and [Federico] Fazio — actually Vertonghen likes to get cards to the opponents."
Meanwhile, Mourinho says he is lucky to be in charge of Chelsea ahead of another "big final".
"In England I have been lucky because sometimes you don't play finals against big clubs. But every final I have played was against a big club," he explained.
"The first one was against Liverpool [League Cup 2005], the second League Cup was against Arsenal [2007], the FA Cup Final [in 2007] was against Manchester United.
"Now I have Tottenham so I am lucky because all my finals were big finals."
