Chelsea midfielder Willian says he is ready to fight to keep his regular place in Jose Mourinho's team.
The Blues added Juan Cuadrado to the squad after signing the Colombia international for an initial fee of £23.3m and the Brazilian has welcomed the competition from the former Fiorentina man.
"Competition for a place in the squad is growing. But I will always fight for my place," Willian is quoted as saying by the Daily Star.
"As I said, I can't ever feel comfortable otherwise another player can come and take my position.
"I need to always improve and that is why I work hard to try and keep my place in the squad.
"[Juan Cuadrado] took part in his first training session today. We spoke with him and he looks like a calm boy, a good guy. We hope he can be happy with us here at Chelsea."
Meanwhile, the 26-year-old says he's enjoying the best moment of his career at Chelsea.
"I think this is the best moment of my career," he said.
"I've been improving, developing my game.
"I am very happy to play for a club such as Chelsea. It was my dream to have an opportunity to play in a big league like the English league.
"I came to Chelsea to win titles and we are close to it this year.
"So I think I am in a good moment, and I've put in my head that I can't ever feel comfortable. Even when I become a regular, I don't feel comfortable and try to always improve more.
"That's what I have been doing."
