Arsenal have confirmed that Takuma Asano has agreed to join German side Hannover 96 on loan next season.
The 23-year-old has never managed to make an impact at the Emirates since joining the Gunners from Sanfrecce Hiroshima.
And with Arsene Wenger leaving the club it seems his future will always be away from the club.
Speaking after the agreement has been reached, the player said: "I'm very happy to come to Hannover and I'm going to go full throttle to repay the club's confidence in me and make the 96 fans happy."
Hannover head coach Andre Breitenreiter added: "Takuma is a versatile offensive player, he puts a lot of speed and action on the pitch - at the same time he has a strong mentality.
"We are convinced that he has great potential and will evolve at Hannover 96."
