Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi will assess the fitness level of midfielder Keisuke Honda and striker Mattia Destro ahead of tomorrow's derby against Internazionale.
The Italian confirmed that a number of key players are back in the squad but will only take a decision on the starting formation after today's last training session.
"It's Internazionale against Milan, the main actors will be the players [not the two coaches]," Inzaghi said.
"The derby is a game on its own, a win would be important for everybody, including the fans, we know how much they care to beat Internazionale.
"I didn't focus too much on Internazionale to be honest. They are quality but we have to make sure to control the game and to be a little bit more precise than last Sunday.
"We are confident, a number of players are back from injury, I have 15-16 regular players available.
"[Mattia] Destro trained with the rest of the squad yesterday, I will today assess his fitness level and decide if he can start the game.
"I have a selection headache in the offensive department, I have three very strong players on the right who could start. Destro is one of them, then I have [Giampaolo] Pazzini and [Jeremy] Menez, on the left I have [Giacomo] Bonaventura and Menez.
"[Diego Lopez] suffered a finger injury, he will not train today and will be assessed on Sunday. If not ready, [Christian] Abbiati will start.
"[Keisuke Honda] is in the squad, he resumed training with the rest of the squad in mid-week. He is ten days ahead of schedule. After today's training session I will decide if he is ready to start from the first minute."
