Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi says the away win against Palermo can be a turning point ahead of the last part of the season.
With Internazionale dropping points against Parma, the Rossoneri consolidated their eight place in the table as they continue to chase a Europa League place for next season.
"There's always something more to do [in terms of performance]," Inzaghi said.
"We started to play the way we know from the Firenze game [against Fiorentina].
"We played a very good game and had a fair goal disallowed. Few teams won away from home against Palermo, we played as a team and this is very important.
"I am very satisfied, there's a long way to go but I admire the spirit of the lads.
"In the second half we dominated the game and when we were close to victory they were given the penalty.
"But our reaction was excellent and we had a number of important players on the bench.
"So I'm happy with these two consecutive wins."
