Coach Filippo Inzaghi says Milan are back to their best despite suffering yet another defeat in the Serie A on Monday night.
The Rossoneri could have moved up to seventh in the table with a win but they failed to take advantage of Mattia Destro's lead as they allowed the Fiorentina players to twice score with the head to first restore parity and then win the game in the dying seconds of the game.
"We're back playing the way we know, tonight I saw the Milan [I like]," Inzaghi told Sky Sport Italy.
"The defeat is a big shame, even a draw would not have been a positive result. But we have to look at the performance even though the three points would have done a lot of good to the morale [of the players].
"I am relaxed, we prepared the game well but when you lose a game you deserved to win you get very upset.
"I introduced [Alessio] Cerci to score the second goal, I was hoping to take a two-goal lead and we had chances [to do it] on the counter.
"Our position in the table is not the best but after tonight we can look forward knowing that we can play good football.
"Milan gave me a lot, I hope to stay here as long as possible. If they decide to keep me, so be it, if not I will look elsewhere because I love this job."
