Coach Filippo Inzaghi wants Milan to produce a convincing performance at home against Cesena.
Having started the season aiming for a top three finish, the Rossoneri are ten points from third-placed Napoli and already out of the Italian Cup.
But Inzaghi says a win on Sunday could help his side bounce back from a negative period.
"All of us at Milan want to bounce back [from a disappointing start to the year]," Inzaghi said.
"We have a golden opportunity and I hope tomorrow's game [against Cesena] will be the one helping us to bounce back.
"I believe that a good performance resulting in a win would be ideal [because] there is still a long way to go in the championship. We have objectives to reach but positive results are required to achieve them.
"Playing at the San Siro when things are not going according to plan is never easy. Our fans have been patient so far, our objective is to do our job and win games.
"But to save our season we have to play good football, I take it one game at a time and [tomorrow] we have to win in a convincing way."
