Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi asks fans to patient as they look to improve their 11th place in the table.
With sixteens games left in the Italian Serie A, the Rossoneri are 13 points off the top three but the Italian is convinced that his team can get maximum points from all remaining games if they perform at their very best.
"At the moment the priority is to give Milan an identity to its game," Inzaghi said.
"I understand that it's not easy to ask fans to be patient because they've been patient long enough, but patience is indeed required.
"Empoli is not a surprise, we have to play a very good game to win. They managed to achieve important results away from home but we're Milan and we cannot afford to drop any more points at the San Siro.
"We tried to prepare the game in the best possible way, as we do every week.
"If we play as we know we can win all sixteens remaining games of the season especially with the new signings that helped us improve.
"[Nigel] De Jong is back in the squad and [Riccardo] Montolivo will be ready on Tuesday so we are covered in midfield."
