Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi says his side will take positives from yesterday's 3-1 defeat to Juventus.
In 2015 the Rossoneri only beat Parma in the Serie A but the Italian hopes his players will take heart from the excellent performance away from home against the league leaders.
"We missed key players so I told the lads that they did well," Inzaghi told Sky Sport Italy.
"We tried to be aggressive, pressing high up the pitch and we also had a chance with [Giampaolo] Pazzini to score the 2-2.
"This performance will be a morale booster to the team, today it wasn't easy to match Juventus but for a big part of the game we managed to do it.
"We conceded the second goal during our best spell and then the 3-1. There are also a number of dubious calls but it's part of the game.
"What remains is the performance of all players. The new signings are good signings, we just now have to recover injured players.
"I now hope to be able to work and have a complete squad to choose from in the near future. I knew I couldn't do any miracles but I hope I can help the team improve."
