Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi says his players are determined to put criticism to rest when they take on Lazio on Saturday evening.
The Rossoneri came under heavy criticism after losing at home to Sassuolo and Atalanta and only managing a draw away at Torino but the Italian says that his team is ready to bounce back to continue their run to the top three.
"All games are decisive," Inzaghi said ahead of the Lazio game.
"Our position in the table doesn't compromise any of our objectives and for what I saw [in training], I believe we will soon be out of this negative period.
"The players trained well, I hope that is reflected on the pitch. It's an important game and we want to win it, we want to show what we can do on the pitch.
"The rest [what has been written in papers] is not important. [Captain Riccardo] Montolivo wanted to join me in today's press conference because he is upset about what was written in the papers.
"In December many were saying how special we were and 20 days of work should not be easily forgotten. Tomorrow's performance is important. If we perform, the result will be a positive one."
Asked who will start the game against the Biancocelesti, the 41-year-old explained: "[Giampaolo Pazzini] featured in the last two games.
"We now have two games in three days, he will play in one of them and one half in the other because he's very important for us.
"[In midfield] I have plenty of options. I have [Andrea] Poli, [Michael] Essien, [Sulley] Muntari and [Marco] van Ginkel. He [van Ginkel] will play one of these two games.
"[Suso] has just arrived, he trained for two days, he can also play as a striker."
