Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi has played down the significance of Sunday's home defeat against Atalanta.
The Rossoneri suffered their second defeat of the new year and are yet to win in the Italian Serie A this year but the 41-year-old says there is still time to bounce back and fight for a top-three finish.
"We are obliged to do better, today's boos are understandable" Inzaghi said.
"Our job is to turn these boos into applause, this team didn't turn into something bad in a fortnight. We will analyze the game tomorrow morning and through hard work and eagerness we will soon be back to the same form we showed two weeks ago.
"We have to bounce back against Lazio and Sassuolo. At this stage last season we were 17 points off the top-three so nothing is lost yet. If Internazionale believe they can do it, we have to believe as well."
Asked to comment on the clash between Alessio Cerci and Ignazio Abate, the Italian said: "Nothing happened between the two.
"It's normal for players to be upset when the scoreline is against you. He [Alessio Cerci] played 80 minutes on Tuesday, which is why I had to take him off but today was difficult for all players."
