Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani says the future is bright at the club under new coach Filippo Inzaghi.
The Rossoneri lost only one game so far as they lie fourth in the table, five points from leaders Juventus.
"We are very satisfied with the [Verona] win," Galliani is quoted as saying by MilanNews.it.
"We are satisfied with him [coach Filippo Inzaghi], we realised a change was in progress from the very first game against Lazio.
"The atmosphere was different and everyone understood this, especially the fans."
Asked about in-form midfielder Keisuke Honda and striker Stephan El Shaarawy, Galliani said: "He [Keisuke Honda] was always an important player.
"He needed time to adapt after joining in the January transfer window.
"Let's not forget that even the great Platini needed time to settle down and then we all saw what he became.
"I'm not comparing the two, simply saying that foreigners, sometimes, need time to adapt. He scored six goals without any penalties and did well in pre-season as well.
"He [Stephan] El Shaarawy is one of our most important youngsters, he's a regular in the team and he knows it.
"He's physically fit and he said nothing offensive [when substituted against Verona]."
