Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi says he's already looking forward to next week's game against Fiorentina.
The Rossoneri moved up to fourth in the table after a convincing 3-1 win away at Verona with Japan's Keisuke Honda again on target as he scored his fifth and sixth goals of the season.
"We are very happy today as we were missing a number of key players," Inzaghi told Sky Sport Italy.
"I congratulated myself with [Michael] Essien in the dressing room, he played a terrific game.
"I'm a little bit upset for the conceded goal but [goalkeeper] Abbiati did well in a number of occasions. All in all it was a very good win but I'm already looking forward to the next game against Fiorentina.
"I spoke about [Keisuke] Honda way back in August. I tried my best to find the best possible role for him.
"When I considered the 4-3-3 formation I realised Honda is a very technical player but also very strong. He covered the full pitch when he scored the third goal."
Asked about Stephan El Shaarawy's game, Inzaghi added: "Choosing is not easy.
"When you have seven good strikers you have to inject confidence in all of them and then decide who's best to start.
"El Shaarawy did well, he works hard, he already did well against Chievo. In these cases abundance is a good thing because we need every player to help."
