Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi says the San Siro fans can play an important role when the Rossoneri host Chievo on Saturday.
After two disappointing draws away from home, Milan will be determined to get back on winning terms with 27-year-old Jeremy Menez expected to be in the line-up after shrugging off a knee injury.
"We prepared well for the game, we're happy to play again in front of our fans, we need their support," Inzaghi said on Friday afternoon.
"It's nice when others [Chievo coach Eugenio Corini] say we have the right spirit.
"I am optimistic, else I wouldn't have accepted the job but we need time.
"We know problems cannot be solved immediately but what makes me so relaxed is the behaviour of the players, it makes me happy.
"It seems [Jeremy] Menez has no issues, he will be in the squad.
"I don't know if [Stephan El Shaarawy] will start alongside him. I want to play the 4-3-3 because it suits him.
"He did well against Lazio, I used him against Juventus and kept Bonaventura on the bench. We have seven players up front, I will always try to start with four."
