Milan striker Giampaolo Pazzini says it's strange not to be involved in European football.
The Rossoneri failed to qualify for Europe after a disappointing campaign last year and the 30-year-old believes that an ambitious club like Milan belongs to Europe's most prestigious competition.
"All of us hoped to get better results in our two last away games, but these results can happen at the start of the season," Pazzini told Milan Channel.
"We hope to learn from mistakes. We had a tough season last year and we want to bring Milan back where it deserves.
"Milan belongs in the Champions League, it's strange not see Milan in action on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
"But we didn't set any objectives, we just have to do our best."
