New signing Geoffrey Kondogbia says he is ready to work extremely hard to secure a regular place at Internazionale.
The former Monaco midfielder was a target for Arsenal and Manchester United according to reports in England but opted to sign for the Italians after they showed interest since his days at Sevilla in the Spanish Liga.
"I am fully aware of the fact that I'm living a dream," he told Inter Channel.
"I used to watch Internazionale all the time on the TV when I was a boy and today I'm part of the club.
"My job is to work extremely hard so as to stay here as long as possible.
"I know Internazionale monitored me when I was at Sevilla and this shows how much faith they have in me. This is one of the many reasons why I chose Internazionale, I understood they were determined to sign me."
Kondogbia has been compared to former Internazionale midfielder Patrick Vieira and he intends to emulate his hero with the Nerazzurri.
"[Similarities with Vieira?] Patrick Vieira is a legend of French football," he said.
"I will try to be like him but it's not easy. I will do my best, that's for sure, hoping to do even better than he did."
