Samir Handanovic agent Federico Pastorello says the goalkeeper is set to sign a new contract at Internazionale, rubbishing rumours linking him with a possible move away from the club.
The 30-year-old was rumoured to be one of the many goalkeepers shortlisted by Manchester United to replace David de Gea but Pastorello believes the Slovenian will not leave Milan.
"They are just rumours," the agent told FCInternews.it.
"There is nothing true about a possible move to the Red Devils, I never spoke with them so I deny rumours that he will move to Old Trafford.
"I wouldn't talk about offers received, I would talk about particular situations to assess and something more concrete has to be done for the player to leave.
"He wants to win here at Internazionale, we are negotiating with the club and we made huge steps in recent weeks, I would say that the percentage of a renewal is very high.
"Of course every player would love to feature in the Champions League, it's normal. But Samir wants to reach this competition with Internazionale even if recent seasons were very disappointing."
