Serie A side Internazionale are ready to sign an important midfielder during the summer transfer window.
If they fail in their bid to land Manchester City's Yaya Toure, Corriere dello Sport reports that they will join Liverpool and Manchester United in their attempt to sign Monaco midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia.
The 22-year-old is under contract until 2018 and has a market value of £17m.
Manchester United are reportedly also interested.
Also linked with the Nerazzurri is Udinese's Allan Marques Loureiro and Barcelona's Alex Song, who spent this season on loan at West Ham United.
Also possible for Roberto Mancini's side is a return of Thiago Motta or a move for Liverpool's Lucas Leiva.
