Coach Roberto Mancini expects a tough game when Internazionale host Juventus on Saturday afternoon.
Fresh from their impressive qualification to the Champions League's final and already crowned champions in the Serie A, Mancini will be hoping for Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri to rest key players ahead of the Italian Cup final as he again insists that the objective this season was to finish in the top three.
"Tomorrow it will be a difficult game against a team that has just reached the final of the Champions League," Mancini said.
"Juventus deserve what they achieved [so far this season]. They struggled [seasons ago] in the same way we are struggling now but they did an excellent job in rebuilding and winning trophies.
"We have improved [from the last time we played against Juventus], we're more united and this is a positive thing.
"At the same time there were a number of negative results, we wanted to finish in the top three but we threw away games we could have won.
"Fiorentina, Torino, Udinese, Parma, Cesena, Sampdoria - many games where we could have done something better.
"[Handanovic?] He is amongst the best in Europe but he wants to play the Champions League. We'll see at the end of the season [about his contract] but we have to respect the desire of our players."
