Internazionale coach Roberto Mancini was upbeat despite yet another defeat for his side on Sunday night.
The Nerazzurri suffered their ninth defeat of the season against Sampdoria away from home but the Italian believes his side deserved to take all three points from the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
"This wasn't a great month for us," Mancini told Sky Sport Italy.
"I don't have any complains on today's match, we deserved to win but we lost.
"We have to continue the way we played tonight hoping for a change in luck. There are ten games to go and we have to continue just the way we did against Sampdoria.
"I'm clearly not happy with how this month unfolded but we have to look forward.
"We're facing some difficulties but ultimately I believe we deserved to lose less games than we actually lost. There are moments where everything goes against you, we just have to be strong to get out of this patch.
"I'm the coach and I accept criticism but projects take long to unfold. We're not used to this in Italy but taking criticism on the chin is part of my job.
"I believe the squad improved even if results are negative."
