Internazionale coach Roberto Mancini criticised his side for their slow approach before the break but was happy with his side's performance in the second half.
The Nerazzurri continued to struggle for consistency as they were defeated at home by Fiorentina.
And Mancini believes his players should have been more aggressive in the early stages of the game.
"The problem was that we were a bit indecisive in the early stages," Mancini said.
"Fiorentina are a team that knock the ball around very well. We should've been more aggressive, more decisive in the first half.
"After the break we had chances to restore parity, like [Rodrigo] Palacio's chance.
"It was a really balanced match in the first half, with neither side enjoying too many chances.
"Then, little by little, we grew into the game in the second half. If we'd got the equaliser, I think there's a possibility that we'd have gone on to win the game."
